Vinh Long · Can Tho

I write software in Vinh Long. That is not a province name on a page.

Most of the software companies you will find for this search have a separate landing page for every province. I am in Vinh Long, and what I sell is a different thing: a system that runs on your own server to replace spreadsheets and paper — not a page that describes you.

The honest version of what local search looks like

If you search “lập trình web Vĩnh Long” you will get a list of web design companies. That is accurate, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. Most of them sell a marketing website: logo, about page, contact form, usually built on a template. Some of them have no office here at all.

What I sell is different, and I am saying so up front rather than letting you work it out: an internal operations system that runs on your own infrastructure — stock, orders, documents, an audit log — replacing Excel, paper ledgers and Zalo groups. It is not a website about your company. If you want a brochure website, I am the wrong supplier, and the companies in that list are better at it than I am.

What I am better at is that the contract is signed here, and the work does not stall at handover because you are far away. A project where every exchange with the supplier crosses a timezone and every question waits a day is a project that tends to die at the testing stage — and testing is where projects die.

Where I work

I sit in Vinh Long. Below is where I work regularly, with the practical arrangement for each place. Exchanges are online throughout; an in-person meeting can be arranged, but it needs notice and travel is charged on top.

  • Vinh Long

Where I am. Same timezone, exchanges online.

  • Can Tho

Same timezone. Day-to-day exchanges are entirely normal; an in-person meeting needs notice and carries a travel cost.

  • Ben Tre

Exchanges happen online as everywhere else. An in-person meeting needs notice, and the travel cost is stated before you agree to it.

  • Tien Giang

As with Ben Tre. Travel cost is stated in the quote up front; nothing appears after the price is fixed.

  • Tra Vinh, An Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Hau Giang, Kien Giang and Long An

I take work in these provinces. The one thing I will not do is run a project entirely across timezones — not for cost reasons, but because I would be handing over something I cannot supervise.

Who here this fits

These three groups are ones I have thought about and believe a small system suits. If you are not in the list — I will say so when you tell me.

  • Food processing

Where batches, expiry dates and documents travel together through a process Excel cannot hold. A system that ties a batch, its date and its documents to each other costs far less than one recall.

  • Small manufacturing and subcontracting

Where orders arrive over Zalo, the production schedule is on paper, and the real quantities are written down by one person. That is three homes for the same fact, and nobody can see them disagree.

  • Trade and multi-outlet distribution

Several outlets, one stock figure. When each outlet has its own file, you do not know what you have until a customer calls and finds out you do not.

What this is not for

These four I will turn down, and say so here rather than let you spend a week finding out.

  • You only need a brochure website

I do not build brochure websites, landing pages or SEO sites. I build the system behind them. If you want the page, there are a great many places that will do it better than me and cheaper.

  • You need people by the month

No. I do not do IT staff augmentation and I do not staff a team. That is a different model and I cannot deliver it.

  • You need ISO, SOC 2 or a security assessment

No. That is a certification-and-team business. If your process makes that line mandatory, I am the wrong supplier.

  • A system needing three or more people at once

No. Two projects in parallel is my real limit. From three upward, a company in Ho Chi Minh City will move faster than I will, and for no more.

The evidence is not local

I am not going to put a list of local clients on this page, because I do not have any to put there. What I have is what you can open and check: public source code, and an about page with my degree, school and city on it.

Having no clients to show does not make this page weaker. It makes it different: a row of logos around here is usually a row of somebody else's logos, not mine.

Local questions

Can we meet in person in Vinh Long?
It can be arranged, but it is not how I normally work. Projects run online: exchanges by phone, Zalo, and video calls when they help. If you still want to meet — to check who I am, to watch a build — arrange it by phone, and travel is charged on top, stated before you agree to it.
I am in Can Tho — does that work?
Same timezone — which is why working with me remotely is normal: a morning call is a morning for both of us. Exchanges during the build do not need a meeting. If you want to meet in person — agreeing scope, watching a build — it can be arranged, with travel charged on top and notice needed.
What about the other Mekong Delta provinces?
Yes, and online exactly the same as everywhere else. Around this region you are not paying to get me there and I am not charging you for my travel — that is part of why I work here. There is exactly one thing I turn down: a project run entirely across timezones, because I would be handing over something I cannot supervise. That is about time, not distance.
Do you work with companies or government agencies?
No. I am an individually registered household business, and whether a household business is even an eligible counterparty for direct-award public procurement is something no source I can find has answered. If you need that, I am the wrong supplier, and I would rather tell you now than accept the work and raise it later.
How are travel and meeting costs handled?
An in-person meeting is a separate line item, not part of the project fee: travel and my time are quoted before you agree to them and written into the quote — nothing appears after the price is fixed. Exchanges during the build happen online, so most projects never incur it.

If you are in this region

The fastest way to know whether this is work I can do is to describe one job you currently do by hand. One free conversation, and it ends in a priced scope document — including when the answer is that it is not a fit.
